One passport
Small by design
The road is only part of it.
We don't drop riders into a hotel, hand them a route file and call it an experience.
CIS HOTSPOTS™ is intentionally smaller and more personal. We live together. Ride together. Eat together. Recover together. The experience continues after the bikes are put away.
Montebello.
May 26–30, 2027.
CIS HOTSPOTS™ begins in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Montebello is the experience open now — the first road, the first stamp and the first unlock in the founding six.

Know the
road.
Ride Intel™ gives you the intelligence that matters before you arrive — what the road will demand, where execution matters, and how to approach the day with purpose instead of guesswork.
64 miles of decisions.
Opening Control
The road asks questions immediately. Control the opening, settle into the day and protect what you will need later.
Reset / Fuel
Use the opportunity to recover, fuel and prepare. The easier moments are part of the execution plan.
Main Demand
This is where preparation, pacing and restraint start showing. The goal is not simply to get through it — it is to execute it well.
Finish Strong
There is still work late. Ride Intel™ helps you arrive with enough left to execute instead of simply hanging on.
Open → Build → Extend → Prove → Attack
Five days. One deliberate progression. Each ride has a job.

Understand the Demand.
You receive the finished Ride Intel™: the customer-facing intelligence you need to understand the terrain, execution priorities and what the road is likely to ask from you.
Train the Demand™.
We use CIS Ride Intel™ to build your 8-week event-specific training around what Montebello will ask from you — so you arrive prepared to execute.
Train the Demand™ makes sure you're ready when it comes.
Choose your
experience.
Ride Intel™ helps you understand the route and know what to expect — terrain, climbs, descents, pacing considerations and the key demands of Montebello. Then experience the destination through shared living, riding, recovery and your first official CIS Passport™ unlock.
Everything in Experience, plus an 8-week event-specific training program built around the demands of Montebello. Train the Demand™ — prepare for the terrain, climbing, intensity, pacing and execution before you arrive.

Before You Book
Readiness • equipment • lodging • food • weather
Montebello includes mountain roads, sustained climbing and group riding. You do not need to be the fastest rider, but you should arrive prepared for the demands of the terrain.
Bring a roadworthy bicycle, helmet and equipment appropriate for mountain riding. Final equipment guidance will be provided with your rider communications.
HOTSPOTS™ uses shared destination lodging rather than a traditional hotel model. Living together is intentionally part of the experience.
Tell CIS about dietary requirements in advance. We will make reasonable accommodations where practical within the Farm to Table™ operating model.
Final arrival, departure and local logistics instructions will be provided after reservation confirmation as the trip plan is finalized.
Routes, timing and daily plans may change because of weather, road conditions, safety or other operating considerations.
Frequently Asked Questions
The questions riders usually ask before reserving
Yes. CIS HOTSPOTS™ is designed around a small shared group experience, so individual riders can join the group without bringing their own crew.
No. The standard is readiness, control and the ability to handle the terrain — not being the fastest rider. Ride Intel™ helps you understand the demand before you arrive.
Non-rider guest space is not included in the standard package. Contact CIS before booking if you want to explore a guest option.
Bike rental is not included in the package. If local rental options are made available, those details will be communicated separately.
Your reservation is confirmed, your selected package is recorded, and confirmed payment creates your permanent CIS Passport ID. Rider onboarding and trip logistics follow.
Your permanent CIS Passport ID is created after confirmed payment. Physical Passport fulfillment and personalization details are handled through the rider onboarding process.
Reservations will close and Montebello will move to a waitlist so we can contact riders if space becomes available.
